We nominate Panasonic Industry’s ERJPC high precision thick-film resistors series because it delivers accuracy levels previously only achievable with thin film technology.
The ERJPC high precision thick-film resistors series offers double power density with thin-film-level accuracy, enabling very space and cost-efficient designs.
The components achieve an initial tolerance of ±0.1% with a temperature coefficient of 25 ppm/K, placing them in the lower precision range of conventional thin-film resistors. At the same time, the rated power for identical package sizes is approximately twice as high. For the 0603 size, for example, a rating of 0.2 W is possible, whereas comparable thin-film resistors are rated at 0.1 W.
In the past, developers often had to choose between a component optimized for precision and long-term stability and a solution offering higher load-handling capability, robustness, and cost-efficiency.

By combining high accuracy and low TCR, ERJPC thick film resistors achieve a total tolerance that is significantly better than conventional thick film resistors and approaches thin film level performance.
