Built on this foundation, Apollo510D Lite combines an Arm® Cortex®-M55 processor operating at up to 250 MHz with Arm Helium™ vector extensions and Ambiq’s turboSPOT® technology to accelerate AI inference directly on the device. Unlike conventional embedded processors that force AI workloads, wireless communications, and sensor management to compete for processing resources, Apollo510D Lite employs a heterogeneous architecture with a dedicated 48/96 MHz Arm Cortex®-M4F coprocessor that independently manages Bluetooth communications and sensor processing. This architectural separation allows simultaneous AI inference, continuous sensing, and wireless connectivity without resource contention, delivering real-world performance that benchmark-driven architectures often struggle to sustain.

Apollo510D Lite also provides 2 MB of RAM and 2 MB of non-volatile memory, complemented by dedicated instruction and data caches that substantially expand the headroom available for larger AI models, richer graphics, advanced sensor fusion, and increasingly sophisticated application software. As Edge AI models continue to grow in complexity, this additional memory capacity enables developers to build more capable products without compromising system responsiveness or requiring external memory.

Measured against comparable Cortex-M4 and Cortex-M33-based solutions, the Apollo510 Lite Series delivers more than 16× higher compute performance and up to 30× greater AI energy efficiency. These improvements are not incremental—they fundamentally expand what is possible within the power envelope of battery-powered devices. Apollo510D Lite integrates secureSPOT® 3.0, built on Arm® TrustZone® technology, providing secure boot, authenticated firmware updates, trusted execution, and hardware-based security without sacrificing the energy efficiency that distinguishes the platform.

What truly differentiates Apollo510D Lite is not any individual specification, but the way its technologies work together within a unified power architecture.
